Clinical Director of Medicine Job Description

Join a dynamic team to lead and deliver high-quality patient care. This esteemed role involves overseeing the delivery of services across multiple streams, including education and supervision of trainees, students, and staff.

About the Role
  • This leadership position plays a crucial part in shaping the future of medicine in Central Queensland. As Clinical Director of Medicine, you will be responsible for fostering excellence in clinical outcomes, scholarship, and staff development.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and inspire a team of medical professionals to provide exceptional patient care and achieve outstanding clinical outcomes.
  2. Develop and implement strategic plans to improve healthcare services and drive positive change within the organization.
  3. Mentor and supervise trainees, students, and staff to ensure they reach their full potential.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
  • Registration or eligibility for registration as a Specialist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). This will require Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP).
  • Candidates with additional sub-specialty interests are encouraged to apply.
  • Enrolment and maintenance of ongoing CME program with the appropriate bodies.
