Job Description

Laboratory assistants play a crucial role in various industries, including research and development. Their primary responsibility is to assist laboratory personnel with routine tasks, such as preparing samples for testing, operating equipment, and maintaining records.


Responsibilities:
  • Prepare samples for testing by following standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Operate laboratory equipment, such as spectrophotometers and microscopes, to analyze samples.
  • Record and maintain accurate data, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Assist senior laboratory technicians and supervisors with daily operations, including troubleshooting and maintenance of equipment.
