We're seeking a skilled Space Planner to join our team at Coles Group. As a key member of our merchandise transformation team, you'll play a crucial role in delivering customer-centric, commercially efficient floor plans across our Supermarkets business.

About the Role

In this 9-month fixed-term opportunity, you'll report to the Floor Planning Manager and work closely with a broad stakeholder group to drive business outcomes. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing macro space and ongoing store change requests
  • Building strong working relationships with varied stakeholders
  • Ensuring all floor plan milestone dates are met in line with the business schedule
  • Developing a deep understanding of merchandising principles for Supermarkets with different Store Formats and Store Sizes
About You and Your Skills

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Demonstrated experience in a retail or fast-paced FMCG environment
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, numeracy, and written skills
  • Able to manage multiple projects with a key focus on timeline delivery
  • Capacity to communicate clearly and influence effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders
  • In-depth knowledge of product relationships and interdependencies within a store
  • A proven track record of working both within a team environment and independently
