Application Security Expert


Overview">

Our organization is looking for an Application Security Expert to join our team. This role will involve ensuring that our software is built with the highest security standards possible.

Job Description">

This position will require working closely with software engineering teams as the application security subject matter expert. You will contribute to the design and implementation of our application security control suite, including automated static analysis and composition (SAST and SCA) tools, dynamic security testing (DAST) tools, and ensure these are used effectively and provide value to the organization.

Required Skills and Qualifications">

Experience in either application security or digital assurance teams, or software engineering or devsecops teams, with exposure to Java, JavaScript, Python, and Cloud-based systems, with an interest in cybersecurity concepts is desired. Coding experience in languages such as Java, JavaScript, or Python is also required. Security certifications such as CSSLP, CISSP, CompTIA Security+, or OSWE are not required but are favored.
