A high-profile opportunity has arisen for a Strategic Communications and Digital Transformation Advisor to join our client, a government regulatory agency, on an assignment of up to 9 months in Melbourne CBD. This role offers the chance to make a lasting impact on the organisation's operational communications.

About the Role

The successful candidate will support the development of communications action plans and associated collateral for a major project to improve how the organisation communicates across its operational communications. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing operational communication activities, such as letter, SMS and email content, templates, phone scripting, and web and portal content.
  • Facilitating forums, surveys and interviews with stakeholders to gather insights to inform communication improvements.
  • Working closely with subject matter experts from across the organisation in a consultative and supportive manner to develop and deliver communication activities and initiatives.

What You'll Need

To be successful in this role, you'll require:

  • Demonstrated ability in digital platform management within a government environment.
  • Experience working on a major transformation change project.
  • High-level written communication skills.
  • A high level of computer literacy, particularly with Microsoft 365.

You'll need a tertiary qualification in Communications, Media, Journalism or a related field and at least three years' experience in a communications role.

Compensation Package

We're offering a competitive hourly rate of $60.00 plus Super dependent on experience, inclusive of 25% casual loading. Anticipated hours per week are 38 (7.6 hours per day) for this contract.
