About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Electronics Technician to join our team at the Australian Defence Force. As a Communications Electronic Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective operation of our air force.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance on various electronic systems, including ground-based radar systems, satellite communication systems, and surveillance and control equipment.
  • Identify and troubleshoot equipment faults, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
  • Set up and configure remote communications systems, ensuring seamless connectivity and data transfer.
  • Maintain and repair integrated communication systems, including high, very high, and ultra-high frequency radio systems.
  • Collaborate with air traffic controllers and air battle managers to ensure the effective operation of surveillance and control equipment.
