Job Title: Accounts Payable Officer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process invoices accurately and efficiently.
  • Reconcile vendor statements, investigating discrepancies and resolving issues promptly.
  • Communicate effectively with internal departments and external suppliers to address inquiries and resolve concerns in a timely manner.
  • Ensure compliance with established accounting policies and procedures.
  • Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
  • Maintain organized records of invoices, payments, and related documentation.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Officer or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable or a related role.
  • Strong demonstrated experience in a property or corporate real estate environment or at a senior level in a similarly complex industry in an Accounts Payable role.
  • Proven ability to work within an integrated services and property model delivering Property Management, Facilities Management, Project Management and Financial Management Services.
