Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Technical Product Development Manager to join our Quality Engineering CoE team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for executing on our product vision and roadmap by creating and delivering innovative solutions that solve real-world problems for our internal customers.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Product Management, Engineering leads to set priorities for delivery based on overall vision and product objectives.
  • Help define a product backlog that focuses on achieving agreed product initiatives from the roadmap, and guide the delivery team on what problems need to be solved as priorities and why.
  • Keep your product backlog up-to-date and prioritized, working with engineers and delivery teams to refine and provide estimation as needed.
  • Collaborate with the development team on customer interactions to discover usability concerns and functional gaps.
  • Practice ongoing product discovery together with the development team and customers, fostering a culture of short cycles of experiments.
  • Proactively identify and facilitate the removal of impediments, protecting the team from disruption and helping them honor commitments.

Requirements:

  • Awareness of cloud computing.
  • Ability to communicate complex solutions clearly.
  • Experience in tracking engineering performance and operational health metrics.
  • Expertise in microservices or distributed systems architecture.

  • Contribute to QECoE engineering standards and frameworks.
  • Ability to lead or facilitate discussions on application design.
  • Good to have experience leading Cloud hosted (AWS) applications.
