Hydraulic Technician

We are seeking a skilled Hydraulic Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for attending onsite breakdowns and performing hose replacements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Hose Replacements: Attend onsite breakdowns and perform hose replacements using mobile systems.
  • Assembly and Crimping: Assemble and crimp hydraulic hose assemblies to ensure high-quality results.
  • New System Installation: Install new systems on plant and equipment.
  • Fault Diagnosis: Diagnose hydraulic faults and perform minor repairs to minimize downtime.
  • Fire Suppression Systems: Service fire suppression systems and maintain their optimal performance.
  • Job Documentation: Use mobile systems for accurate job documentation and reporting.
  • Client Support: Provide excellent support to clients across mine sites, workshops, and mobile operations.
Requirements:
  • Mechanical Aptitude: Possess mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability.
  • Communication Skills: Demonstrate good communication and customer service mindset.
  • Driver's License: Hold an HR or MR class driver's license.
  • Construction White Card: Possess a Construction White Card.
  • Prior Experience: Have prior experience with hydraulic systems or hose and fittings.
  • Mobile Plant Exposure: Have exposure to mobile plant, drilling rigs, or mining equipment.
  • Forklift Licence: Hold a forklift licence or have experience in fire suppression system servicing.

This position is based at our Kalgoorlie branch.

The ideal candidate will be motivated, mechanically minded, and prioritize safety.
