Senior Structural Engineer Opportunity

This is a unique opportunity to take on a senior leadership role within a progressive consultancy. As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers, managing projects, and shaping the future of the company.

The company is a multi-disciplinary, international engineering firm specialising in civil & structural design. They operate across various countries and bring together a globally resourced team of over 200 professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of structural engineers, fostering growth, collaboration, and technical excellence.
  • Win work that you're interested in and deliver projects.
  • Review and sign off on engineering calculations, drawings, and documentation, ensuring quality and compliance with Australian Standards.
  • Act as a key client contact, building strong relationships and providing trusted technical and commercial advice.
  • Contribute to the strategic direction and growth of the business.
  • Champion innovation and mentor junior engineers as part of the leadership team.
Your Profile – What We'd Like to See
  • Extensive experience in structural design and project leadership, ideally with expertise in concrete and PT structures.
  • Strong capability in structural analysis tools (e.g., ETABS & Spacegass) with the ability to challenge and guide technical outputs.
  • Excellent communication skills and a confident, client-facing approach.
  • Proven ability to lead teams and projects in a consulting engineering environment.
  • Relevant engineering qualifications (CPEng preferred).
