About Australian Christian College (ACC)

ACC is a protestant non-denominational Christian Education organisation that aims to develop students spiritually, academically, socially, and physically. We are committed to excellence in education so that students are well known, well loved, and well taught by dedicated trained Christian staff.

We have 17 schools across five states, and we are the largest non-government Distance Education provider in Australia.

We are currently looking for teachers to join our team at ACC Echuca, a P-10 co-ed Christian school with Year 11 being added in 2026 and Year 12 in 2027.

We have available positions in:

  • VCE/VM
  • Secondary Maths
  • Secondary Science
  • Primary

These roles can be full-time or part-time, open to negotiation.

As a teacher at ACC, you will:

  • Plan and implement teaching programs or courses of study;
  • Have the content knowledge and pedagogical practice to meet the diverse needs of all students;
  • Demonstrate a commitment to improving professional practice through coaching and professional development;
  • Provide a child-safe environment in accordance with the child safe standards;
  • Participate in child safety and wellbeing induction and training provided by the school;
  • Act in accordance with our Child Safety Code of Conduct;
  • Identify and raise concerns about child safety issues in accordance with our Child Safety Responding and Reporting Obligations Policy and Procedures;
  • Ensure students' views are taken seriously and their voices are heard about decisions that affect their lives;
  • Model and promote the vision and values of the school;
  • Teach an area of the curriculum to senior year levels;
  • Maintain records of class attendance and recording student progress;
  • Implement effective student management consistent with the school's strategic plan;
  • Attend and participate in staff meetings as required;
  • Be actively involved in regular staff devotions and prayer.

About You

We are seeking capable and relational educators who desire to inspire our student community and share their faith in a Christian environment and biblical worldview.

Qualifications include:

  • Evidence of the right to work in Australia;
  • Proof of identity;
  • Recognised teaching qualification;
  • Clearance status of the Working with Children Check (where applicable);
  • Registered with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT);
  • Statements of service from previous child-connected roles;
  • References from previous child-connected roles.

You must also be:

  • A committed Christian comfortable with sharing your faith;
  • Committed to improving student academic outcomes;
  • Having high expectations for what students are capable of, both academically and behaviourally;
  • Relating well to staff, students, and parents, and able to communicate effectively with parents to support a culture of high expectations;
  • Having a servant heart;
  • Having demonstrated excellent organisational skills;
  • Having experience in Secondary (desirable).
