GP Medical Educator

We are seeking a GP Medical Educator to join our team in the Mackay region of North Queensland. As a GP Medical Educator, you will provide targeted support and education for GP registrars, guiding them from entry into the program through to fellowship via peer learning sessions, one-on-one support, and practice visits.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality education and support to GP registrars, promoting their growth and development as general practitioners.
- Collaborate with Training Coordinators, Program Support Officers, and external partners to ensure high-quality outcomes for registrars and practices.
- Build strong relationships with registrars, supervisors, and practices, tailoring support to local needs for optimal training and progress.
- Support supervisors with professional development and in-practice teaching, promoting general practice as a career and strengthening rural and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander training pathways.
- RAGP fellowship (or equivalent) and a passion for medical education.
- Experience in teaching or mentoring registrars, medical students, or peers will be highly valued.
