About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Sales Agronomist to join our team in Warren, NSW. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing expert agronomic and technical support to our farmers and producers in the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consult and offer expert product knowledge on broadacre cropping and cotton production to our existing client base in Warren and the surrounding area.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with our clients, understanding their business goals and sharing technical and market information to enable them to improve the performance and sustainability of their farming enterprises.
  • Provide agronomic and technical support to our farmers and producers, including product sales both in-store and on-farm.
  • Maintain relationships with existing customers and target new broadacre & cotton clients through the provision of superior sales and agronomic input.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest plant production practices and coordinate field days and farmer meetings to position yourself as a subject matter expert in the region.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Established yourself as a trusted advisor in an agronomy role and demonstrated an understanding of the products, seasonal timings, and general requirements of rural producers.
  • Sound customer service, organisational, administrative, and computing skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in understanding the sales process and strong sales activity and call cycle management.
  • A tertiary qualification in agricultural science or a related field and a current driver's license.
  • Experience in an agronomic advisory role related to agricultural chemicals and fertiliser.
