As a senior superannuation lawyer, you will support the business with commercially oriented legal advice focused on superannuation law, trust law, and financial services law. Reporting to the General Counsel, you will have end-to-end responsibility for the Legal Advisory team, providing practical and commercial advice to the business.
The role involves advising on defined benefit funds and trust deed interpretation, as well as reviewing marketing materials, PDS, and disclosure documents. You will also provide guidance on AML/CTF and privacy law issues. The successful candidate will be a results-focused lawyer with deep knowledge of trust law, the SIS Act, SGA Act, Corporations Act, and APRA/ASIC regulatory guides.
A Melbourne-based leadership opportunity has arisen for an experienced superannuation lawyer to join this dynamic and collaborative in-house legal team.
