Are you looking for a career in the electrical power industry? Balpara has an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Trainee to join our team in Melbourne. As an Electrical Trainee, you will be responsible for collecting underground electrical asset details using GPS and manual methods across Victoria. You will also learn about the power industry, including the significance of overhead power lines, surveying, 3D scanning & modelling, and record that information into AutoCAD drafting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collecting underground electrical asset details using GPS and manual methods
  • Communicating with contractors on site
  • Ensuring adherence to Electrical Utility detailing and drafting standards
  • Drafting using AutoCAD software
  • Learning the systems for the relevant creation and maintenance of technical drawing

Requirements:

  • Victorian driver's license
  • Ability to work in an office and site-based environment
