With this traineeship you will learn all about the power industry, be exposed to how underground power cables are laid, learn the significance of overhead power lines, surveying, 3D scanning & modelling and record that information into AutoCAD drafting.
 
Role Overview:

  • Office and site based.
  • Collecting underground electrical asset details using GPS and manual methods across Victoria.
  • Communicating with contractors on site
  • Ensuring you adhere to Electrical Utility detailing and drafting standards.
  • Drafting using AutoCAD software.
  • Learning the systems for the relevant creation and maintenance of technical drawing
  • All personal protective equipment will be provided, a vehicle to travel to and from site.
