About the Role:

This is a contract role for a SCADA Project Officer to work with our client, a NSW Government Agency. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing SCADA projects from start to finish, including project planning, project control, project coordination, and project administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning: Prepare project briefs, budgetary estimates, and business cases for SCADA and IICATS capital programs.
  • Project Control: Manage SCADA projects delivery, including managing project scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Project Coordination: Facilitate project delivery with other Water groups, Water business systems, and processes.
  • Project Administration: Process monthly progress claim invoicing from SCADA service providers, prepare reports of financial expenditure, and perform project administration activities.

Requirements:

  • Appropriate Tertiary Qualifications: In a relevant discipline, such as engineering or project management.
  • Strong Knowledge: Of SCADA systems in the Water and Wastewater industry.
  • Demonstrated Ability: In overseeing the management of diverse SCADA projects.
  • Experience: In site investigations to determine SCADA/IICATS requirements, business case preparation, and the use of corporate business information systems.
