Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver & Furniture Assembly Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our logistics operation, you will be responsible for delivering and installing office furniture across the region.

You will work closely with our warehouse team to receive, check, load, and deliver goods safely and efficiently. This includes operating company vehicles responsibly and interacting with staff, customers, and suppliers in a professional manner.

Additionally, you will complete various warehouse tasks, including stock check-in, put-away, and general housekeeping.

Requirements
  • A valid MR or HR driver's licence is required, as well as a current Australian driver's licence.
  • Hold an OH&S White Card.
Desirable Skills & Attributes
  • Excellent physical fitness, enabling safe lifting and handling of heavy items.
  • Strong power tool skills, comfortable using tools and assembling flat pack/component-based furniture.
  • Knowledge of Townsville and surrounding areas, with ability to self-navigate.
  • Pride in maintaining the company vehicle, including daily startup checks.
  • Attention to detail, able to interpret delivery drawings and floor plans with guidance.
  • Friendly and professional demeanour when dealing with clients.
  • Ability to dispatch and deliver items in a 'ready to use' condition; follow special delivery instructions.
