Job Title:

Sourcing and Contract Management Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Sourcing and Contract Management Expert to join our team.

About the Role:

This is a challenging role that requires an individual with expertise in sourcing, procurement, contract management, and supplier relationship development.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication and negotiation abilities, and experience working with suppliers and stakeholders at all levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement long-term sourcing strategies to meet business objectives.
  • Provide expert advice on procurement best practices and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Analyse market trends and supplier landscapes to inform sourcing decisions.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership on sourcing planning and performance.
  • Oversee the entire procurement process from sourcing to supplier engagement.
  • Manage day-to-day contract administration, ensuring compliance and resolving issues.
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, manage their performance, and negotiate terms.
  • Ensure seamless execution of minor construction contracts in line with organisational requirements.

Requirements:

  • Diploma level qualifications in procurement, supply chain, contractual law or similar.
  • Excellent influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Strong relationship building and stakeholder management skills.
  • Working experience in a computerised ERP environment, preferably IFS.
  • 10+ years of Supply Chain / Procurement experience.
  • Experience in an Engineering / Manufacturing or equivalent business.
  • CIPS qualifications in supply chain management.
