Our organization is seeking a skilled Maintenance Fitter to join our team of engineers. This role is ideal for someone with trade qualifications and experience in maintenance procedures.

About the Role

The Maintenance Fitter will be responsible for ensuring the reliability of plant and equipment at our Adelaide site. Key tasks include carrying out preventative and breakdown maintenance tasks, planning own activities without supervision, following safe work practices, attending breakdowns, and providing troubleshooting expertise as required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carrying out all site maintenance and corrective tasks to ensure optimal plant and equipment performance.
  • Planning and executing own maintenance activities independently.
  • Maintaining a safe working environment through adherence to established safety protocols.
  • Responding promptly to breakdowns and resolving operational or technical issues to minimize disruptions.
  • Providing expert support in trouble-shooting and maintenance-related tasks.
Requirements:
  • Trade qualification in fitter or equivalent.
  • Knowledge and practical experience in safe working practices and procedures.
  • Able to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Self-motivated and reliable individual who can work independently with minimal supervision.
  • A team player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
