We are seeking a highly skilled Site Engineer to join our team at Civil Mining & Construction Pty Ltd. As a Site Engineer, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of our projects across Queensland and northern New South Wales.
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for implementing innovative construction methodologies, working closely with the delivery team to eliminate repetitive activities, and assisting with planning and procurement of materials and subcontractors.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing cost-efficient construction strategies;
- Collaborating with Supervisors and the workforce to optimize project delivery;
- Assisting with planning and procurement of resources, materials, and subcontractors;
- Monitoring project costs and providing information for end-of-month reports;
- Implementing environmental controls to minimize risk to the environment.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Civil Engineering degree;
- Minimum 2 years of experience in cost engineering and productivity on DTMR and/or TfNSW projects;
- Sound technical knowledge and analytical skills;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Self-motivation and adaptability with a can-do attitude;
- Willingness to travel and work away from home when required.
