As a Mechanical Tradesperson, you will be responsible for:

  • Performing and coordinating mechanical maintenance work;
  • Optimizing equipment performance by installing, repairing, commissioning and testing machinery and components;
  • Liaising with internal and external teams to ensure safe and efficient completion of tasks.

Key skills and qualifications include:

  1. Australian Apprenticeship, Tradesperson's Rights Certificate or equivalent;
  2. Advanced skills and knowledge necessary to diagnose, analyse and rectify complex equipment-related problems;
  3. Problem-solving and communication skills to provide technical advice and direction;
  4. High levels of initiative and ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  5. Previous experience in heavy manufacturing/industrial or continuous production environment is advantageous.
