About the RoleThis temporary part-time (19 hours per week) Level 5, 5 year contract position attracts an annual salary of $87,623 to $93,338 pro-rata depending on qualifications and experience. The span of work hours across a working week is open for negotiation.
Key Responsibilities- Facilitate partnerships with key stakeholders to ensure community safety is a shared priority.
- Lead community safety initiatives to reduce crime, increase public confidence, and enhance the overall perception of safety within Mandurah's neighborhoods.
- Support the development of grassroots projects that empower individuals and groups to address local safety concerns, build resilience, and strengthen social cohesion.
- Tertiary qualification in Community Development, Criminology, Social Science or other relevant disciplinary.
- Significant experience in a contemporary community development or related role.
- Current National Police Clearance.
- Current C (unrestricted) Licence.
- Current Senior First Aid Certificate (desirable).
