About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hospitality Night Auditor/Relief Manager to join our team. As a key member of our night shift operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our hotel's front desk, guest services, and security.

As a Relief Manager, you will also take on additional responsibilities, including managing the night shift team, responding to guest complaints, and making decisions to resolve issues in a fair and professional manner.

Responsibilities
  • Cross-Checking and Balancing: Assist the Night Manager in verifying and reconciling all financial transactions from the previous day, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Guest Services: Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding promptly to their needs, and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Registration and Departure: Process guest arrivals and departures efficiently, handling payment and providing information as required.
  • Account Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date guest accounts, ensuring that all charges are correctly applied.
  • Safety and Security: Ensure that all necessary security procedures are followed, protecting guest confidentiality and safety at all times.
  • Relief Management: Take charge of the night shift team when the Night Manager is absent, making decisions to maintain high standards of service and quality.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience as a Night Auditor or in a similar role is essential.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of Opera PMS and its applications.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and colleagues alike.
  • Licenses: A valid driver's license and a Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate (Victoria) are required.
