Art Educator Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced arts teacher to join our team in Melbourne.

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching art classes for children and adults of all ages and experience levels in a fun and engaging learning environment.

  • Encourage a lifelong love of art and learning by exploring various techniques, including drawing, painting, sculpture, collage, clay, textiles, and crafts.
  • Present ideas confidently and independently in class.
  • Clearly explain and demonstrate art knowledge and techniques to students in plain English.
  • Manage classroom time effectively.
  • Handle school-aged children and adult students with patience and understanding.
  • Ongoing study in fine art, design, education, or related areas is desirable.
Requirements:
  • Professional drawing skills, including sketching, watercolor painting, and acrylic painting.
  • Strong arts and communication skills.
  • A current Working With Children (WWC) Check.
