Diagnostic Radiology Position

This position involves working as a diagnostic radiologist in a hospital setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for reporting on medical images and providing expert opinions to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reporting on medical images using advanced diagnostic equipment
  • Providing expert opinions on imaging results to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and effective care
Requirements
  • Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists or equivalent specialist recognition
  • Registration or eligible for registration with Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA)
  • Proven capacity and/or experience in providing effective high quality service in the specialty
  • Demonstrated commitment to teaching and education

Work Environment

The department provides reporting for a dedicated CR and CT room in the Emergency Department. The department includes two CT scanners, DR/CR general X-ray rooms, one 3T MRI scanner, Angiography Suite, five Ultrasounds, and a fluoroscopy room. The team strives to provide excellence in healthcare and uphold a high standard of care for all patients, families, carers, and visitors to our facilities.
