About the Job

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Legal Counsel and support the Chief Information & Security Officer in reviewing and assessing commercial contracts for risk and compliance. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and drafting contracts, conducting risk assessments, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and draft commercial contracts to ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with company policies.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential risks associated with contract terms.
  • Maintain accurate records of contracts and associated documentation.
  • Prepare reports on contract status and risk assessments for management review.
  • Assist in negotiations as needed.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Law (LLB) degree or a Juris Doctor (JD).
  • Unrestricted practicing certificate.
  • Australian citizenship or permanent residency.
