As a Specialist Mental Health Practitioner, you will play a pivotal role in providing evidence-based interventions for young people and their families. You will be responsible for engaging with clients, conducting comprehensive assessments, and developing personalized intervention plans. Your expertise in working with culturally diverse communities will be highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct thorough screening and assessment of clients and develop effective intervention strategies
- Provide short-term and longer-term interventions as part of an integrated team
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and their families
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements:

- Undergraduate qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Nursing, Social Work, or related discipline, plus postgraduate qualification in a related field (highly regarded)
- Eligibility for membership in the qualified field
- High level written and verbal communication skills along with emotional intelligence
- Current state-based driver's license
- Ability to work independently and cooperatively in a team environment that works towards reaching common goals
- Ability to work flexible hours including after-hours work as required
- Capacity to recognize own feelings and those of others, self-reflect, and be self-aware
- Respect for the ethical beliefs and diversity of others
