We are seeking a seasoned Financial Professional to join our team as a Business Partner. This exciting opportunity will see you work closely with the Senior Finance Business Partner - Supply Chain & Operations to provide financial analysis and support to drive business growth.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting regular and proactive analysis to identify opportunities for manufacturing improvements that align to business strategy and continuous improvement objectives. You will also conduct analysis of operational performance and expenditure, including conversion costs, machine and labour efficiency and waste, providing actionable insight.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting regular and proactive analysis to provide recommendations for manufacturing improvements that align to business strategy and continuous improvement objectives
  • Conducting analysis of operational performance and expenditure, including conversion costs, machine and labour efficiency and waste, providing actionable insight
  • Working with Site Managers and Senior Business Analysts to continually review and conduct gap analysis of operational reporting
  • Leading commercial planning and reporting activities, including development of factory budgets, performance outlook, month end analysis and commentary on key drivers
  • Supporting Operations Continuous Improvement initiatives through financial validation and tracking, focusing on labour and waste analysis
  • Providing financial and analytical support to the Commercial Finance Manager and CFO through the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process, including tracking and understanding risks and opportunities

This role requires a strong understanding of the food manufacturing industry and operational functions relating to manufacturing, warehousing, distribution and sales. If you have a proven track record in financial analysis and a passion for driving business growth, we want to hear from you
