Fire Protection Specialist

Queensland Fire and Emergency Services is a leading emergency service agency responsible for ensuring the safety of people and property across Queensland. We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as an Auxiliary Firefighter.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging environment, responding to fire and other emergency incidents, promoting community safety and emergency preparedness, and developing and maintaining competencies through regular drills and training courses.
This role offers a unique chance to make a real difference in the lives of Queenslanders, while also developing valuable skills and experience in firefighting and emergency services.
We are looking for individuals who are passionate about delivering high-quality fire, rescue, emergency, and disaster management services. As an Auxiliary Firefighter, you will be part of a team that is dedicated to providing excellent service to the community.
The estimated salary for this position is $70,000 - $90,000 per annum, depending on location and experience. This role offers a range of benefits, including opportunities for professional development and advancement, a supportive and inclusive work environment, and the satisfaction of making a real difference in the community.
Key requirements for this role include being physically fit, having a valid driver's licence, and being able to attend incidents and emergencies at any time. You will also need to commit to attending 50% of calls as a day worker or 30% of calls as a shift worker or with non-routine hours.
