About the Role

As a seasoned housing professional, you have the unique opportunity to transform lives every day. You will be responsible for managing tenancies across our social and affordable housing portfolio, ensuring compliance with tenancy legislation and delivering exceptional customer service that supports tenant wellbeing and community connection.

This role requires strong leadership skills, enabling you to effectively manage complex cases and support tenants through onboarding, needs assessments, and referrals. You will also oversee property inspections and maintenance coordination, maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills. Proficiency in tenancy legislation, property systems, and reporting is also essential. A tertiary qualification in Social Work or a related field is desirable, as well as 5+ years' experience in tenancy or housing management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage tenancy agreements, rent processes, and eligibility screening
  • Support tenants through onboarding, needs assessments, and referrals
  • Oversight of property inspections and maintenance coordination
  • Maintenance of compliance with the Residential Tenancies Act and internal policies
