Lead Rigging Specialist

This role requires a highly experienced professional to oversee and coordinate all rigging activities. The position involves planning, coordinating, and supervising the safe and efficient execution of structural and mechanical works.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and coordinate rigging activities across steel erection and project works.
  • Manage rigging inspections, registers, and site-wide lifting gear.
  • Collaborate with other supervisors to achieve key rigging outcomes.
  • Develop and review Work Method Statements and Job Safety Analyses.
  • Supervise mechanical, structural, and project works.
  • Provide training and Verification of Competency for rigging teams.
  • Liaise with suppliers for lifting equipment maintenance.
  • Audit rigging gear condition, storage, and spares.
  • Contribute to the development of rigging procedures and standards.
  • Identify and resolve issues in rigging processes and systems.
