Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Sustainability Leader to drive our strategic growth and operational excellence.

This senior leadership position reports directly to the Executive GM - Commercial and Corporate. You will set the direction for our Health, Safety, Environment, Quality (HSEQ) and Sustainability strategies.

You will champion a strong safety culture, embed sustainability principles across the business, and ensure compliance with industry standards and legislative requirements.

  • Lead the development and execution of our HSEQ & Sustainability strategy.
  • Provide expert advice on emerging risks, compliance trends, and improvement opportunities.
  • Oversee ISO accreditations and Federal Safety requirements.
  • Embed sustainability into business planning, tendering, project delivery, and supply chain management.
  • Mentor, lead, and develop your team.
  • Represent us with regulatory bodies, clients, and industry forums.
  • Monitor and report on performance against key metrics and benchmarks.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Senior leadership experience in HSEQ and/or Sustainability is essential.

Strong knowledge of relevant safety, environmental, and quality legislation and best practice is necessary.

Experience managing ISO-certified systems and OFSC Accreditations is required.

Outstanding communication, negotiation, and influencing skills are crucial.

A commitment to building a high-performance, safety-first culture is expected.
