Expert Fabrication Specialist

Our company seeks a skilled Fabricator to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who takes pride in quality craftsmanship and enjoys working on diverse projects.
">About the Role
This full-time position involves fabricating custom products from stainless steel sheet, plate and pipe. You'll work on a variety of projects, including water infrastructure projects across Australia and New Zealand.
You'll be responsible for reading and interpreting technical drawings, setting up materials, and fabricating components to specification.
As part of this role, you'll perform high-quality MIG welding and operate fabrication equipment. You'll also conduct inspections of welds and joints to ensure they meet technical and safety requirements.
We're looking for someone with 5+ years' experience as a Boilermaker or Metal Fabricator in a similar environment. You should be proficient in MIG and ARC welding, and confident in reading and interpreting technical drawings.
In addition to your technical skills, you should have excellent mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills. We're looking for someone who is safety-focused, reliable, and able to take direction when required.
Key Responsibilities- Fabricate and weld stainless steel sheet, plate and pipe across varying thicknesses
- Read and interpret engineering drawings to set up materials and fabricate components to specification
- Perform high-quality MIG welding and operate a range of fabrication equipment
- Conduct inspections of welds and joints to ensure they meet technical and safety requirements

Qualifications and Skills- 5+ years' experience as a Boilermaker or Metal Fabricator in a similar environment
- Proficient in MIG and ARC welding
- Confident in reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Excellent mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
- Safety-focused, reliable, and able to take direction when required
