Regional Soil Coordinator

This key role is integral to the SW WA Drought Hub project, collaborating with SoilsWest to achieve objectives and facilitate sustainable soil management practices.

The Regional Soil Coordinator will establish partnerships with industry and stakeholders to enhance capability,
share innovative soil science and tools for improved sustainable soil management,
create networks for researchers, primary producers, First Nations peoples and community groups to collaborate,
and liaise with Sustainable Agriculture Facilitators to ensure farmers and landholders receive coordinated support.

The ideal candidate possesses relevant degree qualifications, complemented by a minimum of 5 years of subsequent experience in agriculture, soil and/or project development; OR an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
They must also exhibit exceptional communication skills, recognising diverse learning styles and levels,
previous experience in preparing communication and extension plans, developing resources and learning activities,
and outstanding interpersonal skills to build, maintain and enhance relationships with various stakeholders.
