Job Overview

Intrax Consulting Engineers, an Australian-owned mid-sized engineering company, is seeking a skilled Engineering Team Director to lead our Victorian division. This full-time permanent role involves overseeing a team of professionals and driving departmental projects to achieve success.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil/Structural) and 3+ years of experience in a technical role. They should also have experience with people management, workflow optimization, and knowledge of the residential design and construction process.

Responsibilities
  • Growing and developing team members to achieve their full potential.
  • Establishing and maintaining strong client relationships to drive business growth.
  • Providing technical expertise to support sales efforts and acquire new business.
  • Driving departmental projects and innovations to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Delivering on departmental/state bottom line targets.
Requirements
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil/Structural).
  • 3+ years of experience in a technical role.
  • Experience with people management in a leadership capacity.
  • Experience managing workflows successfully and efficiently.
  • Knowledge of the residential design and construction process, from untitled land to handover.
  • Thorough knowledge of relevant building codes and standards.
  • Ability to work with CRM systems to optimize processes and systems.
