The Opportunity

Our client is seeking an experienced Staff Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology to join their team across the Region. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity where you will be providing specialist care to public and private patients.

About the Role

As part of the statewide health service, you will be located in a modern 160 bed facility providing high quality health care to the local region. The hospital has a strong relationship with the University of Tasmania's Rural Clinical School, and the secondary care facilities are both associated teaching hospitals with contemporary teaching environments.

The unit is supported by a Level 4 Neonatal Unit and an 8 bed Level 4 Intensive Care Unit. Fellows of the Australian College for Rural and Remote Medicine and Fellows of the Australian College of General Practitioners with the relevant skills and qualifications are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

To be suitable for this role, you will need to hold the FRANZCOG and have Specialist registration with AHPRA.
