About this role

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cafe Attendant to join our team and provide exceptional service to residents and guests.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the food and beverage service, including making drinks, handling cash transactions, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Making high-quality drinks, including barista-style coffees, smoothies, and milkshakes
  • Displaying cakes and pastries attractively and efficiently
  • Greeting customers warmly and providing excellent customer service
  • Filling water jugs and preparing tables for guests
  • Taking orders and processing payments accurately
  • Preparing and reheating food as ordered
  • Presenting food in an appealing manner
  • Providing table service and ensuring that all crockery and cutlery is cleaned and polished
  • Managing inventory and ordering stock as needed
  • Cleaning and maintaining the coffee machine and other equipment
  • Informing management of stock levels and ordering requirements
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Barista experience and skills
  • Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude
  • Basic math skills for handling cash transactions
  • Able to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently
