Secondary School Teacher

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate teacher to join our team as a Secondary School Geography Teacher. The role requires an exceptional educator who is dedicated to engaging and motivating students.

The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of content and pedagogy in the areas of geography, as well as the ability to deliver a vibrant curriculum to their students. They will possess excellent communication and organisational skills, and be able to work collaboratively with other teachers to achieve common goals.

Responsibilities include:

  • Teaching geography to students in years 7-10
  • Developing and implementing curriculum plans
  • Assessing student progress and providing feedback
  • Collaborating with colleagues to improve teaching and learning practices

Requirements:

  • Current VIT registration
  • Experience teaching geography, particularly in years 7-10
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
