Job Title: Acoustic Consultant

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting noise and vibration assessments for transport infrastructure, power & renewable energy, buildings, water, and other industries is a key aspect of the job.
  • Technical expertise in acoustic consulting, noise modelling, and data analysis are essential skills for this role.
  • Designing noise and vibration mitigation treatments and creating detailed technical reports are critical tasks.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in engineering, science, or a related field are necessary for this position.
  • A minimum of 2-5 years postgraduate experience in acoustic engineering is required.
  • Proficiency in noise modelling software (SoundPLAN, CadnaA) is essential.
  • Understanding relevant standards, guidelines, and measurement equipment is crucial.
  • Knowledge of programming languages (R Studio, MATLAB, Python) and/or data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) is beneficial.
