Business Intelligence Analyst

We're seeking a highly skilled Insights & Analytics Analyst to join our Commercial team at Coles Group. As a key member of our team, you'll work closely with the Insights and Analytics Manager to deliver high-quality commercial insights and analytics dashboards and reporting.
Key responsibilities include:
- Operationalising the use of data analytics, visualisation, and insights to support the commercial transformation team
- Collaborating with our centralised IT data hub to support the Coles Group Data Strategy
- Leading and facilitating insight generation workshops with varied end-user groups
- Becoming a key contact for the varied business units in the design and use of the enterprise-wide data platform
You'll have the opportunity to genuinely impact the work you do and work with a diverse range of stakeholders. To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- Working experience with SQL and data visualisation tools (Microsoft Power BI preferred)
- Highly capable in PowerPoint, Excel, and able to communicate data-driven decisions and strategy
- Demonstrated experience working with databases, with cloud-based data platforms highly regarded (particularly Snowflake)
- Past/current experience with Retail product data will be highly regarded
- Proven experience in working with and influencing stakeholders within a complex matrix environment
- Experience in conducting workshops and presenting in meetings, with the ability to articulate Data Management concepts tailored to the literacy of the stakeholder
- Strong communication skills to articulate the impact and data insights to technical and non-technical audiences
