Senior Medical Document Specialist

A meticulous professional is sought to assume the role of Record Analyst, tasked with identifying scanned documents for electronic health records and analyzing deficiencies in medical documentation.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate and maintain a range of equipment and computer systems
- Display exceptional professionalism and courtesy in all interactions
- Identify and analyze deficiencies in medical records, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Assign form identification marking images for discard or rescan as necessary
- Maintain productivity standards, indexing and analyzing an average of 700 images per 8-hour shift
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent medical office management certificate, including medical terminology
- Proficiency in Windows-based computer systems and basic keyboarding skills
- Certification by the State of Texas to complete birth certificate acknowledgments of paternity
- Medical terminology expertise
- Additonal certifications or training in medical record management
