About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our service team in Melbourne. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults in equipment, as well as providing excellent customer service.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the diagnosis and repair of mechanical faults in equipment.
  • Dismantling equipment to remove damaged or worn parts and replacing them as required.
  • Assembling parts, testing reassembled equipment and readjusting if necessary.
  • Travelling to service company equipment nationwide.
  • Experienced working with separators, decanters, pumps, valves or heat exchangers.
  • Service Technician or Maintenance Fitter background.
  • Ideal experience in food + beverage or dairy industry.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn and show high attention to detail.
  • Ability to travel locally and interstate.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a related role.
  • Possession of a trade qualification (e.g. Certificate III in Engineering).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to undergo training and professional development.
