We are seeking a skilled professional to perform mechanical repairs on Low, Medium, and High-Voltage electrical rotating machinery. This hands-on position involves maintaining the quality and reliability of electromechanical equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform mechanical repairs on Low, Medium, and High-Voltage electrical rotating machinery
  • Disassemble electromechanical equipment while documenting parts identification, configuration, and condition
  • Balance mechanical assemblies using dynamic balancing equipment
  • Perform mechanical repairs on shafts, journals, housings, and other worn or defective electromechanical components
  • Clean and maintain electromechanical equipment assemblies using appropriate methods
Requirements:
  • Trade Certificate III in Fitting & Turning or similar
  • Proven experience in mechanical fitting and machining of large equipment, including motors and generators
  • Strong ability to manage workloads effectively while maintaining attention to detail
  • Proven ability to work within a team environment and communicate clearly with colleagues and stakeholders
  • Valid Driver's Licence
