Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Vet Nurse to fill a part-time position in our veterinary clinic. This role offers the opportunity for career growth and a coastal lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Client communication and customer care skills are essential for this role.
  • The ideal candidate will be able to work collaboratively with the veterinary team, providing input and support as needed.
  • Responsibilities include IV catheter placement, blood collection, and diagnostic testing.
  • The successful candidate will also be responsible for recording and assisting with pathology procedures, appointment scheduling and client bookings, surgical and inpatient care, including anaesthetic monitoring, and clinic cleanliness and equipment preparation.
Requirements:
  • A qualified Vet Nurse with at least 2 years' clinical experience is required for this role.
  • The ideal candidate will possess strong time management and multitasking skills, and be comfortable working independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.
Working Hours:
  • Monday–Friday: 8:00am – 6:00pm.
  • Saturday: 8:00am – 5:00pm.
  • Sunday: Closed.
