Lead Business Advisor

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to lead our business services team.

As a key member of our leadership group, you will be responsible for shaping the financial direction of our clients, mentoring and developing junior staff, and contributing to business growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Management & Advisory:
    • Manage a portfolio of clients across various industries, delivering high-quality business advisory and tax services.
    • Prepare and review financial statements and tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships, and superannuation funds.
    • Advise clients on business operations, complex tax matters, regulatory requirements, restructures, estate planning, and succession planning.
    • Provide value-added services, including financial modelling, asset sales and acquisitions, and strategic planning.
    • Liaise with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and best practice.
  • Leadership & Team Development:
    • Supervise, mentor, and support junior and senior staff, fostering their professional growth.
    • Manage workflow and team performance, ensuring efficiency and client satisfaction.
    • Collaborate with directors to enhance client service delivery and business development initiatives.
    • Promote a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and knowledge sharing within the team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • CA/CPA qualified with a degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Law.
  • 8+ years' experience in Business Services, with proven leadership or mentoring experience.
  • Strong technical expertise in tax and compliance, coupled with business advisory experience.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive, goal-oriented approach with excellent communication and relationship management skills.
