Are you a marketing enthusiast seeking a challenging role in education? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Marketing and Education Program Professional. In this role, you will contribute to the growth and success of our Education Program by driving its expansion and delivering exceptional educational experiences for clients.

Our Education Program delivers custom training solutions for Queensland Government clients, focusing on financial management and risk management to drive financial sustainability across the sector. The program serves learners at multiple levels, including policy decision-makers, budget holders, asset managers, and finance and procurement teams.

The program consists of four components:

  • Open Courses: Target individual clients.
  • Custom Courses: Target unique clients or clusters of clients.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Target large-scale clients (e.g., agencies).
  • Masterclasses: Target industry events.
  • Webinars: Target individuals.

As a Marketing and Education Program Professional, you will be responsible for:

  1. Attracting the right customers to our program through strong sales and marketing skills.
  2. Collaborating with internal stakeholders, clients, and education providers to develop marketing plans for education and capability uplift services.
  3. Managing vendor-developed promotional material, ensuring consistency with our brand guidelines.
  4. Identifying and managing external promotion opportunities, including social media advertising and relevant publications.
  5. Developing and maintaining internal program collateral, including information on our intranet, resources for staff, presentation templates, and proposal documents.
  6. Maintaining key education program contact lists and managing QTC-led Education Program eDM sends.
  7. Managing Education Program networking events and conferences, including promotion, logistics, catering, speakers, and setup/teardown.
  8. Coordinating promotional activities, including conferences, public speaking opportunities, and events.
  9. Managing the education program schedule and calendar. Represent us at conference exhibitor booths and other relevant events.
  10. Managing participant data and reporting, including overseeing registrations and routine reporting.
  11. Coordinating finance administration, including invoice requests, receipting, and reviewing vendor invoices.

To excel in this role, you will require:

  • Design Proficiency: Skilled in design tools such as Adobe, Canva, Illustrator, or similar software.
  • COPYWRITING: Strong copywriting skills to create compelling content.
  • Publishing Expertise: Experience with publishing platforms like WordPress and Campaign Monitor.
  • Event Management: Proficient in managing events, including using event platforms such as EventsAir and Eventbrite.
  • Relationship Building: Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, vendors, and staff.
  • Experience within an education setting (or similar) would be highly regarded.
