Job Title: Paediatric Senior/Team Lead Occupational Therapist

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Paediatric Senior/Team Lead Occupational Therapist to join our team at Gorilla Jobs. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for working with a paediatric caseload of NDIS clients (ages 3-18 years) presenting with neurodiverse conditions such as ASD, ADHD, Early Intervention and Neurodiverse conditions.

About the Role:

As a Senior/Team Leader Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for conducting initial assessments, creating treatment plans, taking progress notes and implementing purposeful experiences that support children in achieving their goals. You will also need to write regular NDIS progress reports and support junior clinicians by providing supervision, offering guidance with challenges in their caseload and feedback on their plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial assessments and create treatment plans for paediatric clients
  • Implement purposeful experiences to support children in achieving their goals
  • Write regular NDIS progress reports
  • Provide supervision and guidance to junior clinicians
  • Support junior clinicians with challenges in their caseload and provide feedback on their plans
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Current AHPRA Registration
  • Unrestricted working rights in Australia
  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
  • A minimum of 4 years' experience working with paediatric clients
  • Preference for previous experience working in the NDIS space
  • Preference for previous experience in a supervisory role with great leadership skills
  • Own car and unrestricted licence

We offer a competitive salary of $95,000 + Super, a travel allowance, and the opportunity to work with a great team. You will also have access to a $1000 PD allowance (flexible) to continue to develop your areas of interest and attend internal training sessions and conferences held by inspirational speakers and leaders in the Occupational Therapy industry.
