We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Flood Risk Engineer to join our team. In this exciting role, you will be responsible for conducting flood risk assessments, including hydrological and hydraulic modelling, floodplain mapping, and analysis of flood impacts.

As a Flood Risk Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, including catchment-wide flood studies and floodplain risk management studies. You will also have the chance to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to develop flood management plans and policies.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field, and 0-5 years of professional experience in flood engineering, flood modelling, floodplain management, or a similar role. You will also need to have experience in hydrological and hydraulic modelling software, GIS tools, and other relevant software applications.

  • Conduct flood risk assessments, including hydrological and hydraulic modelling, floodplain mapping, and analysis of flood impacts
  • Perform detailed investigations of flood events, assess flood mitigation measures, and provide recommendations for flood risk reduction strategies
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to develop flood management plans and policies
  • Utilize advanced software and tools for flood modelling, data analysis, and visualization
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in flood engineering
