At The Salvation Army, we're seeking a compassionate and resilient leader to join our team as a Home Care Team Leader. As a key member of our Home Care Package team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and support services to elderly individuals in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and deliver high-quality care and support services to Home Care Package clients.
  • Supervise a team of up to 20 workers, ensuring they deliver compassionate and dignified services.
  • Work closely with a Coordinator to manage the care and services of clients.
  • Oversee the overall running of the service, with guidance and support from the Operations Manager.
  • Engage in administrative tasks, such as processing invoices, recording client information, and managing staff pays.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A tertiary qualification in aged care, allied health, nursing, or a related field.
  • At least two years of professional experience preferably including home care.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to guide a team to achieve best practice outcomes.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to work autonomously with integrity and have good problem-solving skills.
